Thank you for your letter to President Wefald on October 30, 1996. The President has asked me to respond to your correspondence.

I am pleased to hear that Jennifer has contacted Dr. Susan Scott and others regarding the e-mail messages she has received. It is my understanding that the appropriate offices are following up on her complaint.

In the next few weeks, we will be reviewing the report of the "Task Force to Study the Concerns of Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Students, Staff, and Faculty at the University."  As with all recommendations received from study groups, we periodically review their recommendations as it relates to organization, personnel, and funding issues.

I appreciate your work with the K-State Bisexual, Gay, and Lesbian society.
